Backstory 背景故事

Kepler-38b, a giant planet 3,470 light-years away from Earth, orbits the two stars in the Kepler-38 system. It is covered entirely in an extremely cold, blue ocean, reminiscent of Neptune but much larger, nearly the size of Jupiter. It has a ring of methane ice, and a small moon. Kepler-38b was discovered 3 centuries ago in 2012, but was only visited recently. 40 years ago, the Liandri Corporation relocated an old arena to orbit Kepler-38b. Some speculate this arena was once one of those repurposed ancient buildings from Earth.

开普勒-38b，一颗巨大的行星，远离地球3470光年，围绕着开普勒-38系统的双恒星运转。它整个被极寒的蓝色海洋所覆盖，类似海王星但是比海王星大许多，差不多得有木星大小。它有一个甲烷冰构成的环带，以及一个小卫星。开普勒-38b在三个世纪前的2012年被发现，但直到最近人类才到访这里。40多年前，力安锥公司把一个旧竞技场搬来开普勒-38b的轨道上。有人推测这个竞技场当初是用来自地球的古代建筑改造而成的。
